Sometimes the only thing that feels better than succeeding is seeing your enemies fail. To help them with that you can use this curse spell! Devised by some envious Wizard of old, this curse interferes with the chaotic patterns that underlie the cosmos, lowering the chances of the target of casting with full power.
“PREPARE TO BURN IN THIS INFERNAL HELLFIRE FLAME!!… Wait… Where is my fire? GIVE BACK MY FIRE!!!!”
Since most spells effects are determined by the roll of a die, we wanted a Curse Spell that could affect those results… for the worse! We thought in a way to reduce the final result, but only on the first spell of the turn, because a continuous effect for all the spells would be pretty strong and too difficult to be removed.
The art features Helliana trying to cast one of her powerful spells, but failing miserably. At the first layer, we can see only the smoke of the fizzled spell, while she’s at the second layer, with a disbelieving and frustrated expression. At the background, a red sky with dark clouds.
